Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, or a Master's degree accompanied by 8 years of experience. Proven experience in Agile methodologies is essential.
Security Clearance:
Preferred candidates will hold a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire. All applicants must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with customizations in the Power BI dashboard.
- Establish and communicate the annual schedules for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs).
- Facilitate readiness for PI Planning by promoting a Continuous Exploration process that integrates a Vision, Roadmap, and Backlogs through Pre and Post planning events.
- Collaborate with Deputy Program Managers Engineering (DPME) and other professionals within the Engineering department and project teams across the organization.
- Coordinate across subcontractors, managing tasks and priorities effectively.
- Develop mitigation strategies to adhere to schedules and program requirements.
- Collaborate with customers and key engineering functions to formulate overall RTE planning.
