Weekly Hours: 40+ hours; Full Time
Key Responsibilities:The PRODUCT CONTROL WORKER is responsible for managing palletized or crated goods, organizing them by type using a pallet jack, and loading trucks according to specified loadsheets. This role involves scanning products, conducting inventory checks, and performing bin audits. Additionally, the worker may manually move or stack products into boxes or crates and stretch-wrap stacks or pallets as necessary.
This position requires physical strength, as it may involve lifting heavy stacks of milk weighing up to 330lbs across a diamond plate platform. The worker must be capable of lifting up to 75lbs occasionally. The work environment is cold, averaging around 35°F, and includes responsibilities such as checking temperatures and completing necessary documentation.
Physical Requirements:While executing the duties of this role, the employee will frequently use their hands for gripping, handling, or writing; engage in verbal communication; and may need to taste or smell products. Regular activities include standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms, with occasional bending, climbing, balancing, or stooping. The employee may regularly push, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:This position exposes the employee to cold, wet, and/or humid conditions, as well as moving mechanical parts.
