Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive designs for transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range, ensuring adherence to specifications, codes, and client requirements.
  • Lead and mentor less experienced team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations meet client requirements and S&L formats.
  • Prepare technical reports and studies that present clear, concise information and meet client needs.
  • Perform independent reviews of work performed by others, including calculations, drawing preparation, and transmission line models based in PLS-CADD.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • At least 10 years of transmission design experience.
  • Proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
  • Experience working directly with clients on transmission lines from 69kV through 500kV.
  • Knowledge of engineering standards, including NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, and ANSI.
  • Ability to review design drawings created by others.
