Painter/Blaster Technician

Magnum Systems is seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing parts for paint and final finish of stainless-steel parts. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Set up and operate blasting and polishing machines to prepare parts for paint and final finish.
• Paint finished products to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality results.
• Sandblast metal parts to prepare for paint, glass-bead blast stainless-steel parts, and grind and polish food-grade items.
• Load and unload paint racks, stage parts, and perform barcode scanning tasks.
• Prepare, operate, and maintain equipment for operation, regulating machines by setting and adjusting controls.
• Maintain specifications by closely monitoring operations, inspecting parts, and adjusting machinery and procedures as needed.
• Operate hand and power-assisted painting equipment, air-powered nail guns, and power saws.
• Assist with packaging of product for shipment to customers and cross-train in shipping, crating, and receiving.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-year industrial painting and blasting experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions and internal procedures and policies.
• English proficiency is required for safety and job training.

The physical demands of this role include lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 40 lbs, frequent standing, occasional squatting and sitting, and grasping, pushing, pulling, holding, carrying, and manipulation of grinding, polishing, and blasting tools.

This is a full-time, hourly position with typical days and hours of work being Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
