Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with our fleet vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 months of experience in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, as well as write clear and concise reports
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, using hands to manipulate tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
