*_The Production Assembly Technician is tasked with executing assembly operations within specified timeframes while maintaining quality benchmarks. This position requires the use of various tools, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and ensuring the safe and efficient use of machinery in a manufacturing setting. The technician is also expected to keep a tidy and organized workspace and assist with additional responsibilities as required.

- Assembly Execution: Complete designated assembly tasks within set time limits, ensuring all output meets quality expectations.
- Reference Documentation: Utilize standards manuals, schematics, lists, and charts to confirm accuracy during the assembly process.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate shears and power saws; assist crane operators as needed.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, follow all safety protocols, and promptly report any hazardous conditions.
_*Essential Skills & Qualifications:*

- Tool Competence: Skilled in the use of both power and hand tools.
- Detail Orientation: Exhibits a strong attention to detail in all tasks.
- Coordination and Vision: Excellent hand-eye coordination, with good eyesight, depth perception, peripheral vision, and color differentiation.
- Technical Comprehension: Ability to read and understand technical documents, including schematics, blueprints, assembly instructions, packing lists, and shop orders.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Capable of interpreting assembly drawings and making basic mechanical adjustments as necessary.
- Measurement Precision: Ability to maintain measurements within specific tolerances using tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Quality Assurance: Ability to identify and consistently meet expected quality standards.
- Mathematical Understanding: Strong grasp of fractions and decimals.
_*Educational Background & Experience:*

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: A minimum of two years in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Certifications and Training:
- Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Training
- Global Harmonization System (GHS) Training
- Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) Training
- Tow Motor and Overhead Crane Certification
- Note: Onsite training is available for all certifications.

- Standing: Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Physical Activity: Frequent squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, grasping, and reaching overhead and outward.
- Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
