Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Golf Lead to join our team. As a Retail Sales Golf Lead, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading by example, and driving sales growth in the golf department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the hiring process by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Build a positive and inclusive team culture by connecting with every teammate in the store.
  • Plan and organize daily tasks, game plans, and projects with the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager.
  • Strategically delegate tasks to teammates to ensure brand standards are met and programs are executed daily.
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets and signage requirements.
  • Assist the store leadership team with general supervision and training of teammates.
  • Prioritize coaching and developing oneself and others, providing hands-on coaching and teaching the 'why' behind tasks and plans.
  • Lead by example to support the vision of the organization and store, helping teammates understand how their responsibilities align to the common purpose and organizational goals.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Golf experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
  • Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
