About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener/Phlebotomist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Screener/Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and the quality of the plasma we collect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their eligibility to donate
  • Collect and process plasma donations while maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Monitor and record donor vital signs and finger stick results
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate donor compensation and provide excellent customer service
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 32 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • 1 or more years of experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $17.00, and U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
