Key Responsibilities
  • System Start-up and Commissioning: Ensure that commercial HVAC systems are installed and started correctly, meeting safety standards and providing optimal comfort for occupants.
  • Customer Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to clients on the use and maintenance of their HVAC systems, ensuring they are comfortable and confident in their operation.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair issues with commercial HVAC systems, including calibrating controls, thermostats, and sensors to maintain precise temperature and humidity levels.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, building managers, and other stakeholders to understand their HVAC needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience as an HVAC service technician, with proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems, including air handlers, boilers, chillers, and rooftop units.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, components, electrical systems, and refrigeration cycles, as well as familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and leak detectors.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients and team members, as well as a team player with good communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
