- Fostering the growth and development of team members, including performance evaluations and recommendations for career advancements.
- Making informed clinical and managerial decisions.
- Providing guidance and support to staff on both work-related and administrative issues.
- Addressing and resolving staff complaints, escalating serious matters to higher management as necessary.
- Identifying training needs and facilitating professional development opportunities.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Recruiting and retaining skilled nursing staff.
- Implementing specific programmatic functions tailored to the clinical area.
- Collaborating effectively across departments and within the service.
Compensation and Benefits:
The Department of Veterans Affairs offers a competitive salary range, regular salary increases, and potential performance awards. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
