Job Title: Nurse Manager

Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the clinical staff, as well as coordinating all clinical operations of the health center. This includes patient care, quality management, risk management, compliance, and adherence to TFHC policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily operations of the medical center, including leadership for clinical, administrative, dental, pharmacy, referral, and other staff.
  • Monitor clinical support schedules and patient flow throughout the clinic.
  • Establish clear goals and expectations for clinical support staff.
  • Assist providers in delivering quality patient care and perform nursing procedures as needed.
  • Ensure provider and staff task buckets are being addressed accurately and timely.
  • Educate all staff on policy changes, insurance updates, and process alterations.
  • Utilize critical thinking, conflict management, team building, communication, staff development, and appropriate delegation of tasks to manage the health center effectively.
  • Determine and utilize effective communication methods to disseminate information to center staff in a timely manner.
  • Monitor center-specific programs, such as Vaccines for Children (VFC), to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in self-improvement activities, including training webinars, to further promote leadership skills and stay current with federal, state, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • A current Florida license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to navigate and enter data into an electronic health record.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
