Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper (PRN) to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the general upkeep, sanitation, and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment.
  • Perform other housekeeping duties, such as moving and arranging furniture, turning mattresses, cleaning kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors as needed.
  • Launder soiled linens as directed.
  • Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department/unit use.
  • Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.
  • Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.
  • Responsible for stocking of supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
