Railyard Operations Manager

ConGlobal is seeking an experienced Railyard Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations at the railyard terminal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of railcars, managing terminal staff, and enforcing company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prepare railcars for loading and unloading
  • Verify numbers on all inbound and outbound trains
  • Manage the movement of ramp crews
  • Identify and resolve situations that impact efficient flow within the terminal
  • Enforce and uphold all rules, regulations, and policies
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching for safety violations
  • Enhance engagement and retention among terminal staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office suite of products
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work night shift and varying weather conditions
