Job Description

As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing cancer treatment to patients using radiation therapy. You will work closely with radiation oncologists and the cancer care team at a hospital or cancer center to deliver treatments, educate patients and families, and provide moral support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer
  • Work closely with radiation oncologists and the cancer care team to develop treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Operate radiation equipment and use medical imaging to deliver treatments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license (if applicable)
