Radiation Oncology Specialist

JobRialto is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing individualized radiation therapy treatments to patients, working closely with the oncology team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing radiation therapy treatments to patients, in consultation with the oncology team.
• Explaining treatment plans and answering patient questions in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Administering radiation therapies as per patient treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Utilizing medical imaging equipment to verify treatment delivery and ensure optimal results.
• Monitoring patient reactions to treatments, providing guidance on side effects and alleviation methods.
• Collaborating with the oncology team to suggest amendments to treatment plans as needed.
• Providing ongoing support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
• Performing quality assurance tests on simulation and treatment machines to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy or a related field.
• Experience working as a radiation therapist, with a strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in using medical imaging equipment.
• Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Education
Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy or a related field.
