We're seeking an Environmental Scientist Intern to join our Real Estate and Remediation team, where you'll work closely with the project team coordinator to assist with environmental due diligence and remediation projects.
Your Key Responsibilities- Conduct site health and safety planning and ensure work is completed safely.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze data, comparing findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
- Compile, evaluate, and present subsurface investigation data.
- Prepare work plans, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reports, and other technical documents.
- Manage project tasks, cost, schedule, and quality of work.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with clients and project team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet strict project deadlines.
- Ability to travel regionally and locally as required for proposal and project needs.
We're looking for someone with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field. The position will primarily work in the office, with some field work and site visits required.
