We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Fortive Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing repetitive and standard assembly operations of moderate complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Under moderate supervision, receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments following established procedures.
- Solve problems of limited scope and verify the quality of work.
- May make proper computer transactions to move product and work order through the system.
- Frequent contact with associates, supervisor, and possibly engineering, sales, and production control requiring reporting and exchanging of information.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 year experience as an assembler and the ability to identify and read the value of electronic components and read/understand simple production or engineering prints.
- Basic command of English, basic math skills, good manual dexterity, and eye/hand coordination.
- Basic knowledge of related practices, processes, policies, and procedures.
