Key Responsibilities:
This role involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various process plant and pipeline machinery.

  • Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of plant and pipeline machinery, including positive displacement pumps, vertical pumps, compressors, engines, and cooling fans.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and supplies necessary for all equipment.
  • Keep detailed maintenance records for all equipment, documenting routine and preventative maintenance, major repairs, and equipment availability.
  • Follow all operational and maintenance protocols, adhering to safety regulations in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to procure necessary parts, equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude with 5 to 7 years of extensive mechanical experience is required; experience with 3500 and 3600 series is a plus.
  • Proficient understanding of alignment procedures and techniques for both vertical and horizontal rotating equipment is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision is required.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn custom software applications are necessary.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with fellow mechanics is expected.
  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to engage in vigorous outdoor activities and possess the physical capability to work extended hours, including climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing for prolonged periods.
  • Comfortable working in various conditions, including confined spaces and extreme weather, and operating forklifts and light industrial equipment.
