Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech/CNA to provide medical or therapeutic care under the direction of nursing or clinical staff at TrustPoint Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure patient well-being and provide a positive, supportive environment under the direction of charge nurse or supervisor.
- Complete patient observation rounds timely and address patient safety concerns.
- Assist with transferring, lifting, raising, or turning patients, and obtain vital signs, height, and weight as assigned.
- Engage with patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
- Respond to distressed patients in a non-threatening manner and apply de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Monitor behavioral improvements and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Document timely, accurate, and appropriate clinical information in patient medical records.
- Collaborate with other staff to provide comprehensive care and treatment.
