Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Automate cloud operations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab pipeline.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
- Align with DevOps to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud security and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on GCP.
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development using Springboot and JAVA/J2EE.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark and Apache Beam (dataflow).
- Strong understanding of GCP services and solutions, GKE (Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Storage, spanner, cloud run, cloudfunction, pub/sub, serverless dataproc, serverless dataflow.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and tools, such as IAM, Cloud Security Command Center, and Cloud Armor.
