Cloud Engineer Opportunity
Vaco is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our client's team in Memphis. This is a hybrid role that offers a chance to work with a leading organization in the industry.
Job Summary
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure and services. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of Azure-based applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing, Azure services, and experience with automation and orchestration using Azure DevOps and ARM templates.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage, and databases primarily within Microsoft Azure.
- Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of Azure cloud services.
- Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration with applications hosted on Azure.
- Implement automation and orchestration using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and other Azure-native tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents within the Azure environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and certifications in Azure cloud technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
- Proficiency in Azure, with a working knowledge of AWS preferred.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Instances.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Details
- Employment Type: Direct Hire.
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week).
- Total Compensation: $120k - $150k (Commensurate with skills and experience).
