About the Role

Tennessee River cable services is looking for a skilled Fiber Optic Splicer to work on various network infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for splicing fiber optic cables, ensuring strong connections, and maintaining network integrity.

This is a critical role that requires attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience and location.

Responsibilities:
  • Splicing and terminating fiber optic cables
  • Maintaining and repairing fiber optic equipment
  • Reading and interpreting engineering plans and documentation
  • Using OTDR and power meters to test and diagnose issues
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in fiber optic splicing and termination
  • Knowledge of fiber optic cables and tools
  • Proficiency with testing and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
