Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join our BBQ family as a Cook. This full-time position offers 30-40 hours per week, with guaranteed full shifts even during slower periods. We seek cooks who can work diligently with great attention to detail, committed to serving only the finest quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master each kitchen station, including managing the smoker, preparing meats, handling vegetables, and crafting sauces.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the shift, maintaining impeccable workstations.
• Accountable for the quality, safety, and promptness of dishes served.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, safety and sanitation protocols, and obtain Food Handlers Certification.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and maintain punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen to meet service expectations.
• Properly handle, store, and rotate food products in accordance with health regulations.
• Follow opening and closing procedures diligently, adhering to task lists.

Compensation: Experienced cooks who excel in their roles can earn between $26-$29/hr (comprising a base pay of $19/hr plus tips averaging $7-10/hr).

Requirements:

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Capability to engage in physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Adherence to proper dress code.
