About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI). As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care and supporting our interdisciplinary team in delivering safe and high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease.

Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
  • Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan
  • Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
  • Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
  • Insert and remove patient access needles
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform charge nurses of any concerns
  • Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight
  • Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
  • Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
  • Maintain and track inventory
  • Perform laboratory work
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required
  • CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired
