Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor at Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation, you will play a critical role in the coordination of production activities and team members. This is a Second Shift position working Sunday through Thursday, with regular hours from 3:30 pm to midnight.
Key Responsibilities- Production Coordination: Assist in the development of the production schedule and coordinate the flow of work and materials to accomplish production goals.
- Team Management: Work closely with the Production Manager and supervise production personnel to ensure the completion of production tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure cleanliness and maintain a safe work environment within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer issues and develop corrective actions for customer complaints or to initiate continuous improvement.
- Reporting and Analysis: Compile reports of progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
- Performance Management: Complete performance reviews, approve time cards, and perform other supervisory functions.
- Experience: At least 3 years' supervisory experience of production personnel, preferably in a roll forming or other metal forming environment.
- Skills: Experience with shop scheduling, inventory control, applying quality assurance techniques, and enforcing safe working procedures.
- Communication: Must be able to clearly communicate (both verbally and in writing) in English, Spanish is a plus.
- Education: Associate's Degree or higher preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
The work environment is a manufacturing area where you will be exposed to operating machinery, noise, and production byproducts. You must be able to walk, climb, and lift objects up to 75 pounds. You must also be able to handle stressful situations and multi-task, and work under time constraints with overtime and long hours possible.
