Job Summary

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at our Sellersburg, IN plant. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the coordination of production activities and team members, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production goals.
  • Collaborate with production managers to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compile and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to production team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment, preferably in a roll forming or metal forming industry.
  • Experience with shop scheduling, inventory control, quality assurance, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

The Production Supervisor will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to operating machinery, noise, and production byproducts. The successful candidate must be able to walk, climb, and lift objects up to 75 pounds, and work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
