Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Companion to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a Patient Companion, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous observation and monitoring of assigned patients, notifying nursing staff if assistance is required.
  • Support patients with their daily needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Float to various units, including Atrium East, Atrium or Courtyard Rehab, Courtyard East, Emergency, and Intensive Care Unit.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and self-control in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
