Position Overview:

Location: SFO Store: The Chocolate Market
Compensation: $20.96/hr
Openings: 1 Full-Time
Schedule: Thursday to Sunday, 4pm - Midnight

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain knowledge about Canonica's rich chocolate-making tradition and our diverse selection of imported chocolates along with local San Francisco offerings.
  • Receive training on chocolate handling, cash management, and point-of-sale operations.
  • Provide expert assistance to customers by addressing inquiries and recommending suitable products.
  • Ensure a remarkable customer experience through operational excellence, which includes:
    • Achieving and surpassing sales and service targets in collaboration with management.
    • Upholding visual merchandising standards.
    • Adhering to safe food handling practices.
    • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, including uniforms.
    • Executing proper cash handling and inventory management.
    • Assisting in product deliveries, which may require lifting up to 25 lbs.
    • Exhibiting strong communication skills.
    • Being available for both opening and closing shifts across various terminals.

Qualifications:

  • Must successfully complete the SFO Airport background check, badging, and security assessment.
  • Preferred: 6 months of experience in retail sales.
  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry 25 pounds or more.
