About the Role

We are seeking Support Specialists to join our team in residential homes throughout Muskegon County. As a Support Specialist, you will provide care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential environment.

Responsibilities
  • Care for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Advocate for those served on personal and family levels.
  • Monitor and document changes in physical and mental condition.
  • Administer first aid and simple nursing procedures as needed.
  • Maintain the privacy and dignity of those served, reporting any suspected abuse or neglect.
  • Implement programs and document progress for individuals as prescribed.
  • Assist with meal preparation, cleaning, small home repairs, and light residential maintenance duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
