Job Summary:

The Surgical Technician is a vital member of our surgical team, responsible for assisting surgeons and nurses during operative procedures. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and nurses during operative procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean operating room environment
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Surgical Tech certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
