Marketing Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team at AEG. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns for our events and venues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing plans for live events and broader marketing campaigns.
  • Support the coordination of event announcements and on-sale event launches.
  • Assist in trafficking paid and trade media plans, including creative assets, agreements, budgets, and invoices.
  • Coordinate support of day-of-event activations for fans and bands.
  • Assist with day-of-event content coverage.
  • Aid the organization of the department's project management system and structural tools.
  • Coordinate and assist to execute day-to-day recurring marketing tasks for cross-marketing with the New York Islanders.
  • Lead development, expansion, and growth programs to enhance the reach of the arena's marketing footprint.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality/Sports Management, Business or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge & interest in marketing and advertising functions.
  • Intermediate to strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understands the concept of branding.
  • Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous event or entertainment marketing experience a plus.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
  • Flexible-must be available to work evenings, weekends, and all event days as assigned.
  • Team player who is creative and a proactive problem solver.
