About the Job

Penske is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest vehicle maintenance techniques and technologies.

Requirements
  • 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
  • Valid driver's license required.
