Job Summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
