Job Summary

The Medical-Surgical Nurse Specialist provides patient-centered nursing care in a dynamic environment, addressing acute and chronic medical conditions. This role requires effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Patient Assessment: Evaluate patient status, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments.
  2. Meds and Treatments: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  3. Clinical Collaboration: Coordinate care with healthcare professionals, including physicians, physical therapists, and dietitians.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have an active RN license, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
