Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Medical-Surgical Unit
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Medical-Surgical Unit at Wellspring Nurse Source. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans that address their unique requirements.
- Medication Management: Order and administer medications, including IV fluids, as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timely delivery.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective patient care.
- Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with clear instructions on self-care, medication management, and post-discharge care, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) required.
- Certifications: Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a relevant specialty area, such as Acute Care or Family Medicine.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state, with prescriptive authority granted.
Salary Information: We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
