Job Summary

As a Rooms Inspector with LBA Hospitality, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our guest rooms and public areas. This position requires a high level of honesty and trustworthiness, as you will be responsible for monitoring the activities of supervisors, managers, and associates who have access to these areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping Team to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager to ensure that all housekeeping procedures are followed and that the hotel is maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related role, such as housekeeping or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials. The Rooms Inspector must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 60 pounds, with the ability to work in a variety of temperatures and environments.

Advancement Opportunities

With experience and a strong track record of performance, the Rooms Inspector may be eligible for advancement to roles such as Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper. These positions require strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures.
