Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dive Supervisor to join our team in the Newark, DE office. The successful candidate will support our Underwater Inspection Team and work closely with bridge engineers and inspectors to execute underwater structure condition inspection projects in the Eastern United States for DOTs, USACE, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation, maintenance, and operation of underwater inspection equipment
  • Conduct underwater inspections and gather data for report writing and associated CADD drawings/sketches
  • Support regional travel (1 to 2 weeks/month) to conduct inspections and meet with clients
Required Attributes:
  • FHWA NHI Underwater Bridge Inspection certification
  • FHWA NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Course (preferred)
  • Underwater inspection experience with DelDOT, PennDOT, MDSHA/MDTA, NJDOT, DRPA, NAVFAC, or USACE (a plus)
  • Topside inspection experience with regional DOTs (a plus)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word and Excel)
  • Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Licenses required: ADCI Certification; CPR certification
Preferred Attributes:
  • NDT testing experience
  • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task on concurrent projects
