Staff Works is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team in Hawthorne, NY. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing control systems for our clients in various industries.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Controls Engineer with a strong background in PLC and HMI programming, as well as experience with robot and vision system programming. You will work closely with our team to develop efficient user interactions with our equipment through graphical means and ensure the measurement accuracy of our systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement control systems for our clients
  • Develop and test PLC and HMI programs
  • Program and integrate sensors and actuators into the controls architecture
  • Work with our team to develop and implement new technologies
  • Travel domestically and internationally for project releases and installation
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer
  • PLC and HMI programming experience
  • Experience with robot and vision system programming
  • Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Competitive salary: $100,000-$125,000
