Job Title: Field Operations Manager: Construction

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our construction operations team. As a Field Operations Manager: Construction, you will oversee all aspects of our construction projects, from estimating costs to managing day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all activities related to construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
  • Estimate costs, prepare proposals, and conduct inspections to ensure all construction projects are feasible and profitable.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, coordinating resources, schedules, and activities to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise job sites, ensuring all safety regulations and standards are adhered to, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Lead project management efforts, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, and ensuring all project objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction/roofing industry, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction project management, job site management, and operations management.
  • Experience as a Site Superintendent or Construction Manager is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales and business development within the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
