Join the Louisiana Department of State Civil Service as a Social Worker 1-4 - Functional Family Therapist and make a difference in the lives of families and children.
About the Role:This position is responsible for providing social work services to families and children in the community and/or homes. The successful candidate will work with families to identify and address their needs, provide counseling and therapy, and connect them with community resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide social work services to families and children in the community and/or homes.
- Assess the needs of families and children and develop plans to address those needs.
- Provide counseling and therapy to families and children.
- Connect families and children with community resources and services.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for families and children.
- Masters degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
- Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Louisiana Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Louisiana Certified Social Worker (CSW) licensure by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
- Experience working with families and children in the child welfare system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
