At Berlin Packaging LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Operator II to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate narrow-aisle/stand-up/reach forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new warehouse employees to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Organize and pick orders with a high degree of quality and accuracy, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, performing cycle counts as needed to ensure compliance with FIFO standards.
  • Use our ERP system to replenish, restock, and rotate finished items, components, and packing materials to meet production and shipping demands.
  • Prepare billing processes and paperwork for warehouse and drop ship orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Transfer supplies between departments to meet production or shipping needs, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Properly store and label all materials and finished products, adhering to cGMP standards and company policies.
  • Notify leadership of any non-compliant warehouse conditions, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Support company and branch metrics, contributing to our overall success and growth.
  • Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values, embodying our company's mission and vision.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of previous warehouse and narrow-aisle/stand-up/reach forklift operator experience.
  • Must pass the Company Forklift Certification program, demonstrating proficiency in operating a narrow-aisle/stand-up/reach forklift in accordance with Berlin Packaging's safety guidelines.
  • Able to operate all powered industrial trucks in the warehouse while modeling safe work practices.
  • Ability to complete tasks such as scanning, picking, packing, and LTLs with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to train new hires and others on processes.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn, with a positive attitude and contribution to a positive team culture.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, with strong initiative and results orientation.
Working Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to frequently lift/move boxes weighing up to 20lbs and occasionally lift/move boxes and/or pallets up to 45lbs through the warehouse.
