Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our employee health and wellness department, you will play a vital role in promoting a healthy and safe work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective acute care, injury management, community outbreak management, new hire assessments, immunizations, screenings, and health and wellness education to Erickson employees.
  • Conduct and continuously improve on Occupational Health Services, including new hire assessments, work-related vaccines, TB testing, DOT physicals, drug testing, and worker's compensation injury care.
  • Develop and implement health and wellness programs to promote healthy personal behaviors and habits among employees.
  • Collaborate with community leaders, other clinical personnel, and employees to ensure excellent working relationships and a cohesive, employee-focused center of excellence for employee health and wellness.
  • Manage and maintain electronic medical records, including billing codes, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with primary and preventive care knowledge through continuing medical education and certification.
Requirements:
  • Training and current certification as an NP is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in occupational health or primary care setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop a collaborative relationship with community leaders and employees.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, ADA, and OSHA is highly preferred.
  • CPR certified and phlebotomy skills are required.
