Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and functional ability.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a Registered Therapist.
  • Educate patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities, empowering them to take control of their health.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments and progress.

About the Role:

This per-diem position offers a competitive hourly rate of $37-$40, providing a stable income for our Occupational Therapy Assistant. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a variety of patients and medical professionals, utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a valid MA Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and using a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate and effective care.
