Federal Construction Site Safety and Health Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Construction Site Safety and Health Officer to join our team at Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH). This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the safety program for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Surveys construction projects to identify and evaluate physical conditions, safety practices, and hazardous situations.
- Reviews history of accidents and claims, and prepares reports and recommendations as required.
- Coordinates safety of projects, including schedule, loss history, and upcoming activities.
- Conducts accident investigations and provides recommendations for corrective/preventive action.
- Assists in the development and implementation of standardized Safety Programs.
- 30-Hour OSHA Training.
- EM 385-1-1 Training.
- Five (5) years of continuous construction industry safety experience in supervising/managing general construction, or five (5) years of continuous general industry safety experience in supervising/managing general industry.
- Working knowledge of government, industry, and other regulations.
- Higher level training (Bachelor's Degree in Safety, OSHA 500, 501, CHST, CSP, etc) is desirable but not required.
