Engineering Technician Opportunity at Leidos

Leidos is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team in Ridgecrest, CA. As a key member of our Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Range (AEWTTR) Program, you will play a critical role in the assembly, production, installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electrical, mechanical, and logical systems for radar, electronic warfare, instrumentation, and communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to engineers and manufacturing personnel on technical projects and products.
  • Collect, maintain, organize, compile, and manipulate technical data.
  • Create, build, assemble, install, integrate, test, troubleshoot, modify, and repair prototype and production electrical, mechanical, and logical systems.
  • Access and manipulate databases of parts, materials, and drawings to prepare material requests and create/kits/process travelers in accordance with assigned work packages.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and 2 or more years of relevant experience with electrical, mechanical, and logistical systems.
  • Experience with specialized tools and equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret detailed electrical, mechanical, and logical line drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, and work packages.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance under this program if required at a later date.
