Job Summary

The University of North Texas System is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to join its Vocal Studies team. As a Stage Director for the Opera Theater, you will be responsible for leading the production of Cosi fan tutte (MUEN 3040/5040/5040z).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the production of Cosi fan tutte, ensuring a high-quality performance that meets the standards of the University of North Texas System.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement a comprehensive production plan.
  • Work closely with students to provide guidance and support in the development of their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in the discipline or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to the assigned courses(s).
  • Extensive (minimum ten years) professional stage director experience.
  • Working knowledge of Italian.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Terminal degree in discipline is preferred.
