Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the department in medical coding and billing practices, ensuring accurate coding for efficient claim processing.
  2. Collaborate with the billing team to resolve coding issues and ensure timely collections from payers.
  3. Conduct inquiries and analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize coding practices.
  5. Communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • CPC certification and knowledge of ICD-10 coding, Electronic Medical Records, and EClinical Works are preferred.
  • Four years+ of medical billing experience and strong business process, accounting theory, and methods knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
