Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Associate to join our team at Clean Team Inc. in the Grand Ledge area. This part-time evening position is perfect for those who enjoy working independently and as part of a team.

As a Cleaning Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients. Your duties will include emptying trash and recycling receptacles, vacuuming and mopping floors, and cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms.

Responsibilities:

  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles into appropriate waste bins
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas and spot clean when necessary
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors using the appropriate cleaning supplies
  • Clean and dust furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and other hard-to-reach places
  • Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces, ensuring they are free of streaks
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, ensuring soap and paper towel dispensers are well-stocked
  • Take inventory of cleaning supplies and materials, notifying your supervisor when needed
  • Inform the Area Manager of any broken or malfunctioning equipment

Qualifications:

  • Capable of following instructions and learning new techniques
  • Strong time management skills to ensure all work is completed by the end of the shift
  • Demonstrate an understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds for short periods
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Must be 18+ years old, possess a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation with proof of car insurance

Location: Grand Ledge area

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4p-7pm
