Job Summary:
The Peninsula Regent is seeking a skilled and professional Server II to join our Dining Services team. As a Server II, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents and guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to residents and guests, exceeding their expectations in terms of quality, timeliness, and attentiveness.
- Work collaboratively with the Dining Room Manager, Assistant Dining Room Manager, Dining Room Supervisor, and Server Lead to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay knowledgeable about emergency procedures and respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Follow standardized steps of service during meal periods, ensuring that residents and guests receive prompt and courteous service.
- Communicate effectively with the Dining Room Manager, Assistant Dining Room Manager, Dining Room Supervisor, and Server Lead to report any potential issues or concerns.
- Lead by example in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Train newly hired and transitioned front-of-house team members, ensuring they meet The Peninsula Regent's high standards.
- Work one-on-one with existing team members to ensure adherence to front-of-house standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a server in a hospitality and culinary-focused environment, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and/or high-end senior living environments.
- Any current state-sanctioned regulatory Food and Alcoholic Beverage Licenses required for working in the food, beverage, and/or health services environment.
