Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Liaison to join our Medical Management/Health Services team. As a clinical professional, you will play a critical role in serving as a liaison for external groups and providers regarding clinical information from our Operations and Medical Management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and review member clinical records and services related to behavioral health and substance use.
  • Interpret and present program results, developing data-driven analysis and metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI of current and new programs.
  • Partner with various staff and internal/external departments on provider education and outreach, identifying gaps and developing education efforts.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership on provider education and outreach, facilitating discussions to make recommendations.
  • Implement and manage procedures for tracking, identifying, and problem-solving operational issues, including issues between the provider network, community, and facility.
  • Act as the clinical representative in various meetings, collaborating with staff to identify internal and external opportunities and initiate process changes to increase quality and improve staff, provider, and member satisfaction.
  • Serve as a resource and liaison on utilization, quality improvement, and case management activities.
Requirements
  • 4 years of post-licensure experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) with a Florida license.
  • Experience working in provider-facing positions with knowledge or experience in managed care settings, treatment planning, assessments, and work in managed care settings with SMI (Serious Mental Illness) populations.
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Behavioral Health or Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • 4-6 years of related experience providing behavioral health outpatient care in a community setting or independent practice.
  • Experience with assessment of treatment plans related to mental health and substance abuse across the continuum of care.
  • Experience with managed care, case management, utilization management, or quality improvement.
License/Certification
  • LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker required.
  • LMHC - Licensed Mental Health Counselor required.
  • LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor required.
  • Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) required.
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) required.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required.
Pay Range

$67,121,300.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field, or office work schedules.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
